10th Tammuz ~ YA’ACOV’S PREACHING & WRITING!

Synagogue was great today! Uncle Ya’acov read from the scroll and gave the teaching. He’s not as funny as his brother, Rabbi Yeshua, but I still enjoyed his stories. Us kids have been talking about who will make the certificates for the winner of our Championship matches. Seems the Rabbi is a bit strict, or busy, or something like that – so we decided to aske Ya’acov. He’s really clever when it comes to Torah and is very good with writing. We also think he’s got some parchment he can use – so that helps. Obv’sly we spent a lot of time today practicing our marbles. There were some kids in Natzaret who didn’t have any marbles so we all decided to see how many marbles we had altogether and then we divided them out so everyone could join in. Grandma Miriam’s food is great – but I do miss Mum’s cooking a bit! Yes, the girls are having their silly five stones competition as well. One thing I’ve found in my life is not to try and talk girls out of silly things like that – it never works out well for me!
