30 Av At supper last night. Shmuli could contain himself no longer! He tried to keep the suspense going, but he couldn't resist the promptings of his little sister. It seems Eli has given them a donkey cart for their business, he was "investing in the future of KfarGanot." Shmuli says he doesn't know what it means but it sounds important. After synagogue Ya'acov came over to talk to Shmuel. I sat in the shade on my hammock with the twins while men sat under the vine with a drink of wine. They talked for hours. Danni came over for a bit and the children went to play with Yoshi and Miri so I had a restful afternoon all in all. Such a change from all the donkey antics yesterday. Shmuli was right. A donkey cart will keep our Princess out of trouble for sure.
